Saying goodbye and letting our furmates go peacefully with euthanasia rather than letting them suffer is truly a loving gift. As a pet parent, this is the hardest decision to make and, for some, may be the most difficult life experience ever encountered.
We are here to support your needs along with your pet’s during this time of sorrow.
Death is inevitable, but we can alleviate suffering and make it beautiful and serene surrounded by loved ones in the comfort and security of home. We are incredibly passionate about providing you and your pet with the very best possible experience given the circumstances. We care and truly want to help!
All home euthanasia packages include:
- Housecall visit (Dr Dixon and Stewart Lee or another assistant)
- Custom full sedation protocol tailored to your pet’s needs
- Painless and peaceful euthanasia
- Visitation time (the entire sedation and euthanasia process typically takes 20-30 minutes and we schedule 1 hour appointments to allow plenty of time for you to spend with your pet. If you need additional time, our crematorium has a private visitation room that can be reserved for an additional fee.)
- Lock of Fur Keepsake (prepared during the visit)
- Lock of fur in a glass fairy jar
- Sachet bag containing the fairy jar and some small gifts for you in your grief journey
- Aftercare plan support (additional fees apply for cremations – Details below)
- Home burial – our base plan
- Cremation without the return of your pet’s ashes.
- Individual Cremation bundle with the return of your pet’s ashes.
- Pet loss and grief support
- We assembled an 8 page resource guide for you because ongoing support for you is so very important to us. Resources include links to support groups, podcasts, counseling, phone support, books for children by age, books for teens, books for adults, and more.
- “We’re not only here for pets, but their people too!” We want you to have all of the love and support you deserve.
We have partnered with our trusted friends at Agape Pet Services for aftercare. They have lovingly cared for many of our personal pets over the years. We wholeheartedly trust them and their meticulous, professional, detail-oriented process handling your pet with the utmost of care along the way.
If cremation is elected as the aftercare plan, we provide elegant, luxurious, and compassionate transportation suitable for royalty.
“I want to be transported in here when I die,” Dr Dixon said after completing the transportation design and outfitting assembly within her hybrid blue pearl Jeep Wrangler, known as Lady Ocean. We do all the heavy lifting for you so it is one less thing you have to worry about. You are more than welcome to accompany your pet to their comfortable and private space aboard Lady Ocean.

Setting up before we arrive
Choose a comfortable location, pick a quiet, easily accessible spot where your pet is most comfortable. This could be their favorite resting spot, or a quiet area with minimal traffic.
Make the area comfortable and provide a thick blanket or pet bed for your pet to lay on. You can also include their favorite toys. We will provide soft blankets to swaddle and transport your pet if cremation is the aftercare plan you have chosen.
Additional Keepsakes and Memorabilia
Ink prints
- Ink paw print (black ink): $45
- Ink paw and nose prints (black ink): $65
- Multicolor ink and metallic pawprints (several obtained during a 1 hour session off site prior to cremation): $125
- All ink prints will be mailed to you. We hold the session in our own home prior to cremation. Obtaining quality ink prints is more intricate than one might think. The paw is gently shaved, cleaned, and moisturized. Nails are clipped. High quality inks are used to obtain lasting detail and prints are on acid free, archival quality paper.
Tattoos
- Ink prints are popular for tattoos. Some tattoo artists can design tattoos from photos of your pets paw. If desired, we can help you take paw pictures once your pet is sleeping peacefully under sedation before euthanasia.
Additional memorabilia and keepsakes, such as jewelry, glass art and more are available through Agape’s website
- Additional clay prints by Agape are $50 each
